Opening multiple Amazon accounts

Many people misinterpret the Amazon registration system when they want to open several seller accounts or a new account for a company after blocking a personal one.

We have received requests from clients whose personal account has been blocked, with the desire to open another one - for the company.

It is worth considering that in any Amazon seller account (private or company), as well as when registering a bank account, payment system or when registering a tax number - you need to indicate a contact person to whom a certain account will be linked. Most often, a passport or other document confirming identity will be required for verification.

Let us consider a possible case. You have an account for an individual, where the contact person specifies the data of a certain passport and you want to open another one (for a private or company) using the same passport. Do not forget that problems on one account will create problems on another. They will block both until you unlock the first one. We do not recommend trying.

If you already have one blocked account, then another one that you open for a company using the same passport will automatically be blocked. We do not recommend trying 🙅🏻‍♂️

Instead, we suggest you register a second account ONLY if you do not have blocked accounts and ONLY with the approval of Amazon, despite the fact that, according to the latest data, there is no need to request permission to open a second one.

Having a case with the essence of your request to open the next account, indicating that it will have other Charge and Deposit methods, different categories of goods or brands (there are still sellers who successfully sell different variations of the same brand) would be an advantage. You will NOT be able to sell products with one as in on two of your accounts. The ban will also not take long.

Amazon support needs the rationale for opening a second account, and will not take into account your interests but the convenience of Amazon and its users. A reason that is not supported by arguments will not be considered as valid.

The only exception is creating accounts in different marketplaces (amazon.com, amazon.co.uk or amazon.jp). If your account is blocked on one Amazon platform, most likely this would NOT entail the closure of your accounts on other Amazon marketplaces, although the opposite cannot be ruled out.

Please do not take these recommendations as being the only possible ones, there are always other options you can try.
