10 Steps to register a company in the USA

1. Select the type of legal entity and the state of the company registration.

2. Come up with a company name and check if it is available to register in your chosen state.

3. Fill out and submit registration documents to the State Department.

4. After receiving the Articles of Organization, we suggest you also get the Certificate of Good Standing and submit a request to the federal tax service, the IRS, to obtain a tax number, EIN (Employer Identification Number).

5. Submit an application to the IRS to choose the type of taxation. The most common type - Disregarded entity - goes by default for LLC if you have not submitted an application.

6. Draw up your articles of incorporation using the help of lawyers: the state secretariat does not issue them.
